Is Nasonex safe for infants?
Is it really safe for an infant (10 months) to be on a corticosteroid long term? I have done LOTS of research and can’t find any information on it being safe for infants. Everything I have read said that “Nasonex has not been tested for efficacy and safety in children under 2 years of age”. So why did the Pedi say one thing and the APN something else?

What are ways people relieve pain?(fun statistics)
People often rebel by like:cut there hair, loose weight, gain, run away, eat a lot/ a little, go shopping, drive there car into someone elses -____-, start working out, remove the memory from there head (well try), keep the pain to them selves, get therapy, kill themselves, pretend that it didnt happen, move away, there’s a lot of crazy things people do. Some things are better then pain drugs. That’s why before you start taking pain drugs you should talk to your doctor if you need them.

Can Actos cause Heart Failure?
ACTOS cause or exacerbate congestive heart failure in some patients. Observe patients carefully for signs and symptoms of heart failure including excessive, rapid weight gain, dyspnea, and/or edema. If these signs and symptoms develop, the heart failure should be managed according to the current standards of care. Furthermore, discontinuation or dose reduction of ACTOS must be considered. If your mom has no underlying heart ailment, then she would be observed first with the above symptoms to determine whether she’s fit to continue with the drug.
Cellcept for Lupus?
I have not taken CellCept, but I have taken Prednisone, Methotrexate, Imuran and Cytoxan. I understand that CellCept is similar to Methotrexate, Imuran and Cytoxan since they are all Immunosuppressives.
Methotrexate is the least problematic of the three Immunosuppressives (to me). I still had fatigue, nausea, low blood counts and some other problems…
Prednisone made me hungry all the time (which was nice to me because usually I am nauseated and don’t feel hungry at all) and it also made me feel “puffy”. I was also really cranky and tired all of the time. Prednisone did make me feel better over the long run, but over the short term it was kinda a pain.
Don’t be surprised if you begin taking a med and find out that you need to adjust the dose several times before you get to a good place. (You might even have to switch out meds.)
The thing is that you need to talk to your doctor about your treatment options… and don’t be afraid to try out new medicines if your doctor recommends them… talk with him or her about your concerns, what side effects you don’t mind and which ones you can’t tolerate, and keep communication open during your entire treatment plan.
